Gold Glove Charities and the KC T-Bones have agreed in principle to a Gold Glove Charities Night for the 2016 campaign.  Gold Glove Charities will be on hand at a 2016 T-Bones game to raise awareness/money for pediatric cancer research.  Along with the specialty theme jerseys worn by the T-Bones players and auctioned off during the game, other events throughout the game will help raise money and awareness of pediatric cancer.  A silent auction, "Stadium Strength Walk", along with many other

After all of the planning and organization, GGW finally began on June 8, 2015.  Umpires wore commemorative Gold umpire shirts with the GGW logo emblazoned on the front left chest.  Bases, pitching plates and home plates were painted gold.  The silent auction tables, featuring custom GGW baseballs autographed by former Gold Glove Award winners were aligned along the walkway.  What began a dream and a vision was now a reality, and the traction that GGW would gain over the next 2 months was

Wow!  What a boon for Gold Glove Week!  On April 9, 2015, Frank White agreed to volunteer his time for a charity autograph signing event, the backbone of the Gold Glove Week initiative.  The announcement that Frank, a 8X Gold Glove Award Winner and 5X All Star, would be a part of Gold Glove Week created excitement among the community and provided Gold Glove Week with the credibility that it needed to thrive.

Edwardsville Parks and Rec, on February 27th, partner with Children's Mercy Hospital of KC.  Partnering with a local hospital/charity was imperative to the Parks department, as they wanted all of their efforts to assist area children.  CMH is regarded as one of the top pediatric hospitals and proved to be a terrific partner for the inaugural Gold Glove event.
